Second grade is full of many great and engaging activities that will help our students flourish to their greatest potential. Throughout the year, we will be broadening our knowledge in many subject areas with the use of collaboration, problem solving and thoughtful risk taking.

2nd Grade IB Programme of Inquiry
The program of inquiry is divided into 6 transdisciplinary themed units.
Central Idea: People earn money and make decisions that influence spending to meet needs and wants.
Central Idea: Relationships with family and friends help develop conflict resolution skills.
Central Idea: Music allows us to express and reflect on our own uniqueness.
Central Idea: The actions of producers and consumers within an ecosystem affect all living things
Central Idea: Learning about previous generations helps us understand the relationship between the past and present.
Central Idea: The structural development of shelters around the world is influenced by environment and the human need to survive.
