The program of inquiry is divided into 6 transdisciplinary themed units.
Central Idea: Proper nutrition, exercise, and personal hygiene contribute to our health and well-being.
How We Express Ourselves
Central Idea: Individuality and imagination may be expressed in a variety of creative ways.
Central Idea: Throughout time people have immigrated for many reasons which affect the way they view the world.
Central Idea: Changes in Earth and its atmosphere affect the way people live their lives.
Central Idea: Reaching a resolution during periods of conflict is influenced by the actions and reactions of all involved.
Central Idea: People create organizations to solve problems and support human endeavors and enterprises

STEAM is an integrated approach to learning which requires an intentional connection between standards, assessments and lesson design/implementation.
